If the scouts are currently participating in an activity, such as a campout, the adult leaders will move the scouts to a safe area as quickly as possible and then cancel or modify the activity depending on weather conditions. All parents will provide an emergency contact number prior to their Scout going on an activity.</FONT></P> <P ALIGN=LEFT><FONT FACE="Arial,Helvetica,Geneva,Sans-serif,sans-serif"></FONT><FONT COLOR="#0000CC" FACE="Verdana,Tahoma,Arial,Helvetica,Sans-serif,sans-serif"><B>Electronic Devices, Food, and Money</B></FONT><B></B></P> <P ALIGN=LEFT><FONT FACE="Arial,Helvetica,Geneva,Sans-serif,sans-serif"></FONT><FONT FACE="Verdana,Tahoma,Arial,Helvetica,Sans-serif,sans-serif">Scouts are not allowed to bring electronic games, radios, or CD/DVD/MP3 players to meetings or activities.&nbsp; Scout owned cell phones are discouraged.&nbsp; If brought, they will be held by an adult leader and usage will be monitored.</FONT></P> <P ALIGN=LEFT><FONT FACE="Arial,Helvetica,Geneva,Sans-serif,sans-serif"></FONT><FONT FACE="Verdana,Tahoma,Arial,Helvetica,Sans-serif,sans-serif">The only exception to this policy is for trips over 2 hours long.&nbsp; During these trips, such as to summer camp, Scouts may bring electronic devices, but they will not have access to them during the activity.&nbsp; In all cases, the Troop assumes no liability for the electronic device - the Scout brings them at his own risk.</FONT></P> <P ALIGN=LEFT><FONT FACE="Arial,Helvetica,Geneva,Sans-serif,sans-serif"></FONT><FONT FACE="Verdana,Tahoma,Arial,Helvetica,Sans-serif,sans-serif">Scouts are not allowed to bring extra candy, carbonated beverages, or other food on activities. For each activity, the scouts will plan and purchase meals, including snacks, as a patrol. Additionally, no food may be stored in a scout s tent or backpack while camping.
